Not dining?
Earn 3 ways on one dinner
Your card's dining rate, a dining program you link it to, and the reservation perks it unlocks. The dining map shows all three, restaurant by restaurant.
Eligible dine-in purchases only; takeout and delivery do not qualify. Check restaurant and day restrictions. A card can be linked to only one dining rewards program at a time. The Rakuten American Express Card offers an extra 5% on eligible Rakuten Dining purchases (10% total) when added to the Rakuten Wallet and linked to your active Rakuten account. Dining purchases do not count toward its shopping rewards cap. Rakuten Dining's 5% is not counted for other cards: any linked card can earn it, but whether you link one, and where you dine, are unknown. For the Rakuten American Express Card, the full 10% at these restaurants (in place of its usual restaurant rate) is counted on 3.3% of dining spend: 20,618 of the 618,476 restaurants in the US take part (US Census, 2023). Answer "Do you use Rakuten Dining?" to change it.
