With passenger numbers constantly increasing at Frankfurt airport, Lufthansa opened the Panorama Lounge at Terminal 1, departure area A (Schengen) in December 2018 to relieve crowding at the other lounges. The airline is leasing the 1,100 square lounge from the airport, who used to operate the space as a private VIP club.
