As of May 2025, first class award bookings require Emirates Silver, Gold, or Platinum elite status. You can get Silver status with the Emirates Skywards Rewards Mastercard ($99/year) or Gold status with the Premium card ($499/year). Alternatively, book business class and upgrade to first with additional miles.
