Hawaii is wildly popular with Japanese tourists. There seems to be no limit to demand for travel between Tokyo and Honolulu. Competition is fierce, with non-stop daily flights on United, Delta, Hawaiian, Japan Airlines, and ZIPAIR. ANA undoubtedly runs the most impressive operation: the Japanese carrier has a dedicated fleet of three Airbus A380 aircraft, which feature unique turtle liveries. ANA’s A380 service launched back in May 2019. To support their massive operation and the increased number of premium seats, the airline built two lounges at Honolulu Airport.
