The brand new Air New Zealand Lounge at Melbourne airport opened on May 9th, 2017, after a complete makeover that took the better part of a year. The new space, conceived by firms Gensler and Marsen Collective, follows the design language premiered at the airline’s [flagship Sydney lounge](https://loungereview.com/lounges/air-new-zealand-koru-lounge-syd/), with a resolutely contemporary décor, walls of flat screens displaying vibrant nature scenery, sharp lines and colors, and modern furniture.
